Special dinners with friends or family call for beautiful linens to set the table. Choose from damasks in linen or linen/cotton blends, woven with beautiful borders and designs that may include flowers, classical motifs such as urns or fleurs de lys, art deco patterns, or birds and animals in hunt scenes. Most have monograms. Others are fine linen with cutwork, lace and embroidery.

Less formal designs are also available. Woven items with patterns and borders in red, blue or yellow with white are perfect for an al fresco supper or a holiday table.

Table cloths can be found in small to large squares, rounds, and in lengths up to four meters, or 160” (sometimes longer). Napkins made in the 19th and early 20th C are usually very large, about 30” square.
